Astrophotography (noun)

— The practice of capturing photographs of celestial objects and astronomical phenomena, such as planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and the night sky. Modern astrophotography typically involves collecting and combining many long-exposure images to increase signal-to-noise ratio, allowing faint details and structures invisible to the naked eye to be recorded and displayed.
